Meet your Campus Director, Ryann!

Ryann Bowers is a junior at Purdue University studying Brain and Behavioral Sciences with a minor in Spanish for the Professions. She hopes to attend medical school and work in a clinical setting as well as provide health education to underserved populations. Ryann served as a virtual volunteer in Panamá during PY21 and was amazed at the cross-cultural connections that were formed. She is excited to continue expanding these relationships as well as promote LE’s mission by serving as the Purdue Campus Director and Panama Program Director for PY22.

In her spare time, Ryann loves exploring new places, hiking, and trying different types of cold brew coffee.

Meet your Campus Director, Cameron!

Cameron is a junior at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he studies International Affairs and Geography. He is originally from the smallest state in the United States: Rhode Island. He was an online volunteer for Mongolia during the summer of 2021. While the program was online instead of in person, he gained vital teaching experience and connections. In the spring of 2022 he plans on studying abroad in Germany, but cannot wait to go abroad to Mongolia in the summer! He loves learning languages and on top of Chinese, Spanish, and German, he hopes to learn a lot of Mongolian this summer.
