SAYLER GENTRY
Sayler graduated from Appalachian State University in the spring of 2025 with a major in psychology and a minor in criminal justice. Croatia holds a special place in her heart, as she volunteered there during PY2024 and served as Program Director during PY2025. Sayler grew up teaching English alongside her grandmother, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for the power of teaching and how learning English can open doors to new opportunities. This impact has guided her over the past two summers in Croatia, where she taught in the town of Biograd na Moru. Sayler views these summers as especially meaningful, as they allowed her to strengthen her relationships with her students and the surrounding community, and to experience the country’s culture and the beauty of Croatia on a deeper level. She is excited to support the next Program Director in creating another impactful summer for both volunteers and students in Croatia.

BRAEDON ERVIN
Braedon is a third-year sociology student at UC Santa Barbara. He works with local youth in mentorship and tutoring in his role at Freedom 4 Youth, a local non-profit supporting communities impacted by the criminal justice system. Braedon enjoys watching and playing sports, visiting with friends, and trying new foods in his free time. Braedon spent his first four weeks nestled between the hills of Koprivnica at the Sunny Village Camp but retreated to the coast of Biograd na Moru for the latter half of his stay. His experience with Learning Enterprises not only developed his passion and call to work with kids, but it allowed him to build forever connections with people near and far. Braedon is incredibly excited to support all individuals interested with getting involved with Learning Enterprises.
